kenmore 80 series washer

I recently replaced the motor coupler, and lid switch but the washer will not spin. The washer agitates and drains properly what could be the problem?

a new coupling will break just as fast as an old one if it aint properly put on or if they wash a big load on low water or if they put a big old rug in there.

It could be the timer contacts. It reverses the motor during spin.

Does it make any noise when it's supposed to be spinning ?
