Washer leaks from the bottom
« on: February 08, 2011, 10:46:32 AM »

We have a 3 year old Whirlpool top loader that is leaking from the bottom while agitating.  It seems to be coming from the front right side (as you face it).  Any ideas?

Your washer is a direct drive style washer and one of the most common things I see leak on them is the Water Pump.

Here are some videos that may help you.

This video will show you how to remove the cabinet.

This one show you how to remove the water pump.

Please let us know what you find or if you have any other questions.
