E20 error code
« on: October 16, 2010, 02:55:58 PM »

My front load Frigidaire GLTF2940F washer keeps stopping with an E20 error code.  I have checked and cleaned out the drain hose all the way to the valve but no luck.  Also, the timer will show 1 minute remaining for 10 or more minutes.

That E20 could be a bad pump or clogged pump screen. Remove and clean out the tub to pump hose. Look for object in pump. If it keeps swapping time at or near the end of cycle it is dealing with a suds issue. Yall are using the wrong stuff or too much soap.

Let's not forget, a clogged airline to the pressure switch can also give the E20 code. The switch thinks there is still water in the tub when in fact there is crud in the end of the  hose.
