Maytag Neptune MAH4000AWW - No Spin.
« on: August 01, 2010, 09:39:33 PM »

I have a similar problem with the MAH4000AWW not spinning. I checked everything the door lock switches the wax motor the imbalance switches and the R11 on the control board. It all checks out. The unit only tumbles (instead of spinning out) when it is set in the normal cycle part of the control timer. So I tried it in the Quick cycle part of the control timer and the spinout works. every bit of information says I need to change the control board, but it appears to me that the Control timer might be the issue. What do you think? should I change the control timer?

Given your symptoms, you might go with a new timer. If you can get the  machine to spin in one cycle, yet not in another, then the timer could very well be the issue.
