performa Washer has speed problem

What do I do with a speed problem, if after replacing the thrust kit , my cloths are still dripping  wet.  :-\

Any other clues as to the history on the machine?

i.e. Was it having trouble spinning out previously? Grinding noises?

Yes it was making  some grinding noise before we noticed the cloths getting more wet.

You probably have a condition here involving the main tub bearing and seal. This is why replacing the thrust bearing had no effect. Not that I like being the bearer of bad news, but you are in for a lot more repair on this machine if in fact you want to keep it. Bearing replacement requires a variety of special tools on the Performa and Atlantis models, besides the actual repair kit. Your options include paying a local servicer to do the repairs since they already possess the tools.
