106.5666502 Kenmore side-by-side copper corrosion

Ice maker then freezer died. After two tech call-outs I was told the copper coils in the whole unit was leaking doe to sulfur corrosion of the copper tubes in the system. Anyone ever heard of this and where can I get more info on this so that I can prevent it? Of coures none of this is covered by warranty  >:( :'(

If the condenser lines are leaking inside the liner you can mount a condenser coil outside the icebox and hang it on the back. I have cut em out of older ice boxs and mounted them on them leakers. Worked out real well.
