Service Manual & Tech Sheet Needed Whirlpool WFG371LVB0
« on: March 17, 2016, 07:08:05 AM »

I am in need of a Whirlpool GAS Range WFG371LVB0 that is missing the Tech Sheet and would like to have Service Manual if any tech has one. Bake and Broil will light but go out right away - it will cycle on but goes out before reaching temperature set. Stove top works perfectly.

Thank You

This is a Job manual that may help. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-i5KqMA2RZwWm9mMy15WUJTMXc/view?usp=sharing   Note    It is also used for other models.

Will I need to do this to the broil also or is 1 ground sufficient?

Both, but of coarse it could be not a grounding problem just throwing this out to you. Also use a larger screw like wedgeman says. Also ohm out manifold.

Also remember that even if the manifold was bad you would have a working cook top.

Dab, ALL FIXED - THANK YOU!

(Whirlpool Oven sparks - lights then goes out immediately ?? )

Found both Screws that hold and mount the Manifolds loose. One in fact was almost out - Took a couple pictures of the ground I made with some old Range Igniter Heat Shielded Wire with a couple of Connectors and used the existing screws from manifold and screw from Igniter that tightened down real nice and tight. Also fixed a Kitchen Aid that I had with the same exact problem. Amazing how this lack of ground causes sou many issue. Thank You once again!
