W10503278 Chances are this is your issue.  The jazz board has issues with the compressor relay sticking closed and the compressor runs nonstop even in defrost.  Turn the fridge off at the temp controls and listen for the compressor to keep running as the condenser fan.  I will get a techsheet if you really want it.

I would put in forced defrost and if the heater works replace the board.

Also these boards need to be programmed,  which is in the directions.  Use the code on your model tag.

No, I haven't had to as of yet, and I've replaced a lot of those boards. As long as the heater comes on in defrost, I just replace the board.  That saves you from needing to ohm out the heater and the defrost bimetal.  Plus it makes thawing it out faster.  It may take a few minutes for the defrost to come on.  Usually,  by the time I get the freezer apart, it's already hissing and popping away as it melts the ice.

Update!!  Performed all service test mode on all components per the tech sheet, the board wouldn't go in to force defrost mode & exited force defrost mode on its own every time I attempted. Frezzer back panel frosted. Drain pan is bone dry. bad Main board wouldn't defrost. Thanks for all your fast & precise help BryanS!!!
