I am Joe homeowner, DIYer. I have a Frigidaire French Door Fridge with a Flex tray ice maker in the (upper) Fresh food compartment and a finger type ice maker in the freezer. Neither one are receiving water so I am not getting any ice whatsoever. Both of these units have been replaced in the 12-18 months at different times by an appliance repair shop. Current Problem:
The upper ice maker stop generating ice 4-6 months ago and the lower just two weeks ago. I thought at first it was the ice makers themselves so ordered and replaced them. But then I noticed that they weren't being filled. No standard relay clunk or water running sounds. After researching more, I found this forum and read a post about checking resistance for the valves in back. I used a multimeter to check resistance values and all "seem" to be within stated tolerance from the post. I do not nor could I find a service manual for the model I own.
Does anyone have any other suggestions or possibly link to a service manual?
