Need a Hot Wire Relay for GE monogram
« on: October 17, 2015, 05:29:21 PM »

Need one of these, something that could work, or someone who could build/refurbish one.  I can solder and do minor mods if needed.

Stove Model: ZDP48N6RD1ss
GE part #: WB21X5362

Thanks in advance

Ivo

So I ordered the Jenn Air part as we discussed. How can I test the existing resistor (or capacitor) pictured to make sure it is the same? I am not sure if the numbers will match. Do I use an ohm meter and take a reading? Thanks in advance

You don't need to worry about the capacitor. It's across the contacts to help suppress arcs as the contacts make and break connection. The exact value of the disk ceramic capacitor is not a concern.
