The heating element stopped working, so I installed a new heating element.  It still will not heat.

I was wondering if the problem could be the thermal fuse.  Some posts here say that the thermal fuse controls the whole dishwasher; but a few say that the thermal fuse controls the heating element - not the entire dishwasher.

Does anyone know for sure about this particular dishwasher?

Thanks in advance
.

Thanks. DU8000 is on the manual. But I'm sure DU8000b is the same.

Thanks!

Should be a model and serial number on dishwasher. Could make all the difference in a look up.
