Whirlpool Duet Steam codes f27 and f99
« on: December 31, 2014, 01:47:08 PM »

My washer (Whirlpool Duet WFW9600TA00) displays the code f27 and the drain pump runs almost all the time that the washer is plugged in. Also I get code f99. I have checked the drain pump filter and it is clear, I have blown through the lines at the drain and level switch. I have also made sure that the connectors are seated. I have tried to do the automatic test but it will not go past c00. I replaced the water level sensor today and now can't get past f99

Any ideas on how and what to test or replace next?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Correction after 15 minutes of being on with f99 displayed it now says f27 again

I dont have the tech sheet in front of me so I'm just guessing. But I think F99 is a control mismatch? Or communication error? Is this the model with a seperate steamer board?
