Lennox c33-30b-2f-3 problem
« on: October 09, 2016, 10:46:24 AM »

Units been working fine.  No changes have been made.

The inducer fan comes on but shuts off anywhere from 5-15?seconds.   In NJ now so I can't imagine the exhaust pipe is clogged.  Is it the sensing switch?   How do I troubleshoot this?

Thank you

Your furnace control board should have either a light or 2 lights that flash --- to tell you error codes-- the is probably in the bottom section and normally there is a view port to see the lights without removing the cover --- there should be a sticker on the outside on how to read the code if you remove the cover there should also be a plate inside that has the codes on it. based on description sounds like differential pressure switch is out or disconnected--- after the inducer fan turns on it needs a signal from the dif pressure switch that tell it it is getting flow across the burn chamber

Both lights are blinking slow together which means all swell

I've blown 5 fuses doing nothing. The Tatar is calling for cool and I believe the inducer fan is coming on then shuts off. If the fuse just blows from the get go

I put another Tstat on just the eliminate that. But no good. I'm thinking the board but I'm fussing. The inducer shouldn't be coming on with the Tstat calling for cool, right?
