Buy the WE12X81 pulley instead.  It's the same pulley with more parts in the bag, but costs less.

It's interesting how WE12X81 is half the price as WE12X83 and from what I read...it's the same part.

Whenever I take one of these dryers apart I always lube the rear center support bearing with a very small amount of high temp wheel bearing grease. I also check the front drum support sliders to see if they need replacing. Attention to These areas will make it less likely to need to go into the dryer again soon. I personally dislike the GE design due to the lint buildup in the rear circular baffle area of the electric type units . This area is very difficult to clean out.
