I have a newish Electrolux dishwasher. less than two years old. it has a leak that drains into the pan and kills the and drains the machine via the float switch placed there for exactly this reason. At least that is functioning perfectly!
. all my research says to by the leak kit and replace all the hoses and clamps. however is there a more specific and cheaper way to fix the leak? The water is draining from the right side of the dishwasher (as in you are standing and glaring with extreme anger
at it and giving it the finger with your right hand!) through a little cup funnel system. does that indicate a particular part that is leaking?
Also the leak does not begin until the cycle starts to throw water inside the machine. Then it becomes a small river not a drip, and activates the switch within about 10 seconds.
For various reasons I cant get it covered under warranty. Any help narrowing it down before I spend $100 plus dollars on the leak fix kit would be appreciated!
