my kenmore toploader washer only goes into spin sometimes i replaced the lid switch and it still does it could it be the timer?

So it will spin sometimes , but not all the time, is the motor running when it's not spinning or is it dead (quit)?

Check for 120 volts to lid switch when spin suppose to occur if 0 volts, replace timer
