dryer to hot

Gets clothes way to hot. I can hardly touch them they are so hot at the end of the cycle.
Please help.

Could be a element shorted to ground, to test make sure dryer does not heat in air fluff mode, also could be stuck thermostat.

This: THERMISTER is what controls the heat. It probably is out of spec. Control thermostats mount on the blower housing of all dryers to judge the temp coming out of the drum. I would say it needs to be replaced. I worked on a dryer recently like this one but older. Gonna cost a bit more to fix than it is worth. But I do show the control thermostat location and more.
