Title: Tappan oven door broke.
Post by: brian3087 on April 03, 2010, 07:45:22 PM
I am staying in a house with a Tappan Oven (http://www.repairclinic.com/Shop-For-Parts?s=t-Tappen%20Oven-%3d%3d). Someone when opening the oven door let the door go and the weight of the door broke the springs or messed up the hinges. The door no longer stays closed on its own. The model is hltv 62-21 serial number 239222.  I'm just wondering if any knows where i might be able to find parts? I do not see any springs but that might be because they are broke and no longer there. Any adviser or help would be greatly appreciated.

Parts for that brand are no longer available. Electrolux now owns the Tappan brand, but parts for the older ovens have been obsolescent for years.

I have a boat load of obsolete appliance parts. I have them in a container packed full. What am I bid?
