What's wrong with the washer?

I need to verify the tE ( thermistor ) code it seems to have stored. I had to guess at the test mode button pushes. It came up with 4C58 then changed to tE. It would not alow me to cycle through the tests. The complaint was holding too much water in the bleach and softener cups. The customer says the was workng fine otherwise. It may just be a stored code that needs to be cleared.
