First, verify you have 120v to the drain pump. If you don't have 120v it could be the ccu,  that click you heard with the original pump could have been a sticking or faulty relay on the ccu.  A faulty or failed pump wouldn't make a click noise, if it was jammed it would hum but not click.  You can also just apply 120v to the new drain pump to verify that it works.

I did the back wash and the every hot cycle...  Still not draining...

It seems to me that there is no current to the drain pump as it doesn't engage at all.. no noises nothing....

Nutznboltz....  thanks for the reply...  as i said above i'm thinking that i have no or low voltage to the pump...  We tested the drain pump motor with the voltmeter and it was around 18ohm.. the tech manual said it should be 15ohm..   The pump we removed showed around 8ohm...

How do i check the CCU?   From the manuals i downloaded i can't determine exactly how i'm suppose to do it. and i don't want to create more issues.

Do you think replacing the CCU would fix the issue?  or could it be a short in the wiring between the CCU and the pump?

Thanks for all of y'alls help.

I've seen drain pumps fill up with water and short out.  The low resistance of 8 ohms indicates that may have happened.  A shorted pump will take out the ccu.  Take the cover off the ccu and look for burning around the pump plug.

Unplug the wire connector from the drain pump and place your meter leads on the terminals of the connector, place your washer into drain and check for 120v to the connector.  If you have 120v at the connector you know the wiring and the ccu are good.  If you don't have 120v at the connector follow the wire to the ccu and unplug it, use your ohm meter to check for continuity of the wires and verify if its good or not.  With the drain pump still disconnected from the wire harness carefully apply 120v to the pump ( and old appliance cord works best) and see if the pump runs.  If your pump runs and the wires check out good, process of elimination points to a bad ccu.  As Tgoods suggested, inspect the ccu, any burn marks on the board or connection point means you need a new ccu.  Good luck.

Thanks guys...  I do believe i found the problem....

I checked for 120v and had none... pulled out the connectors at the CCU  and the tips were blackened...  now to decide if it's worth replacing or if i invest in a new one..

Thanks again for all your help.
