You're right & I saw that what was confusing me is how the belt loses tension when to the right as show below:
But appears to have correct tension as show below when to the left:
But then I got to thinking & noticed how the top of the arm where the spring is attached 'hits' the arm of the motor.
I decided to pull the arm to the right hard & got this:
And here's how it should look on my LSG1000:
AJ, please feel free to add the final pic to the archive because as you can see, it is different than what is already there.
