For stocking parts maybe a set of belts, but other then that I would just wait and order what you need when you need it.
These washers are really well built and you may not ever need any other parts.

You were not reading fuse continuity.
You were reading the short circuit to ground that caused the fuse to blow.

The reason it is not blowing now is the large fuse you replaced it with.
The fuse should be 1(one) amp.

The over-rated fuse may cause the a hazard.

I don't believe Maytag ever sold the fuse as a separate part. If the fuse blew they wanted you to replace the switch assembly
because one of the switches had failed.

If that fuse is blown she won't fill. If the small white switch is blown she will fill but not wash. If the large switch is blown the washer won't spin. I used to sell .03 amp barrel fuses for a buck a piece when I had my appliance parts store.

I always figured from as a servicer, replace the assembly to avoid a call back.

You have to sell a lot of fuses to make up for one call back.
