M/T d/w mod MDB9600AWS

Have normal cycle  light but wont start.No other comands work .I have replaced door latch assy and touch panel (console) in march for other problems.Every thing seems to go thru door switch's  but you should still be able to chg programs? thoughts would be appreciated thxs Dave All Brand Appliance

Make sure console panel ribbon is in control board tight, other than that maybe control board

I've run into repeat failures of the console/keypad. If cleaning with an eraser & reinserting the pigtail for keypad doesn't help, try another console.

As All Brand said,  Your Keypad/Console is at fault here.  You most likely will have to replace it for the machine to work.  Basically your Start button is worn out.  If you need to do a load of dishes, you may be able to start the machine using the delay feature.

I just replace console in april along with door switch. It work after i chg the console, for it to go again that quick i would have to thing it would be cntrl board verse's the panel going again.Thoughts ?
