Dishwasher start button keeps blinking

Whirlpool 6ADP951/3WH dishwasher start button is permanently on, regardless of program selection. LED lights, door latch, inlet valve are fine, but machine can't start. Is it control board problem or some faulty part? There is no display screen on machine for falure indication. How to solve this problem?

Sounds like control board problem, i would recheck the model number.
