customer complaint was no spin. ran test to confirm and found would make slow spin but would not ramp up. read about clutch problems these machines had so took a poke and replaced clutch. new clutch looked differant than old. installed by removing 1, 3/8 bolt and changed part. so far so good, spin ok.

Every one of these I've run into with a bad clutch, I've had to condemn.  Water gets past the seal and ruins the clutch and tub bearings. If it's leaking water, it will ruin the new clutch within a couple of months.

I had to run to Marcone and grab a clutch for one today.  Previous tech ordered a control board, lid locks and a drain pump because it wouldn't go into spin.  I usually stock one on my truck, but had to use it on Saturday.  9 times out of 10 it's the clutch.  And if the clutch is good, it's the tub displacement sensor.
