First bike I ever rode was an old Harley flat head with the shifter on the tank. Wanted a Harley ever since. Had a Honda and rode a few Kawasaki when younger. Had a MGB roadster with a full blown racing engine in it, grab 2nd gear and front end would come off the ground. OH MY YOUTH!

Looks like a ton of fun!
Back in my high school and vo-tech days (84-88) I use to ride all the time. They where my dad's bikes, but I lived on them.
Got a job, moved away from home and just kind of lost interest. After a few years away from home my dad said if I was not going to ride any more he was going to sell the bikes, so they ended up getting sold. Someday I may get back into it again. Still have my motorcycle license so I'm good to go, just need to buy a bike.
Hope you find our site helpful.

My main scooter ride was a 74 Norton commando I bought of the showroom floor for $1500.  That was a snortin Norton,   Got in more trouble with that thing, just could not keep in at 55, hell it didn't even get in 4th at that speed.   That limey would hit 60 in 1st gear in about 5 seconds.   These crotch rockets are fast now days but they could not hold a candle to that Norton.  Weighing about 400 lbs I could drag my foot pegs & still have great control.   I miss that old Bitch.

I am not a speed demon on that thing yet. Right now I am more likely to get passes than  pass someone lol. I been crusing at 55-60 mostly (so far).

Be careful on that, my brother in law Ed thought a truck with trailer was gonna go left and he went to go around it, it went right (swingin wide) he totaled the bike and never recovered from it. Suffered a long time after the crash.

This has been my project (money pit) over the last couple years. I bought it bone stock with 65,000 miles on it. Had it a week and tore it apart for it's first of many lifts and changes. Couple years ago I went wheeling and broke it good. It came home on a trailer for the first time so I decided to rip it apart and put some parts that should get me home. Full width Ford axles front and rear, lockers, 5:38 gears....

I know the fender flares are the ugliest things around but after three tickets from the CHP out here I was mad and they are the result.
