Dryer runs for 1/2 hour then goes dead.

Our dryer is a model whirlpool GGW9868KQ3. It will run for about a 1/2 hour and then go dead. Nothing works on the panel, but there is power. About 30 minutes after it goes dead it will start flashing PF. Then at that point I can clear and restart the dryer.

Could be a bad connection on the board or power cord.
Other wise you may have a bad control board.

Do you have another appliance plugged into the same wall socket?

You should inspect all wires to and from the control board.
Sounds like a bad wire that heats up until the resistance changes and stops power to the board.
When it cools down the connection is re-established.
Look closely at all wire connections and terminals on the board also.
