LRFC22750SW Refrigerator Main Board Correct Version

Have an LG LRFC22750SW fridge that goes bonkers every few days and goes full on cool mode, freezing everything in the fridge section.
When this happens, the temp display flashes all 888's.
A power cycle off, then on fixes this for a few days, then it happens again.

I have been told it is the main board that is causing this and there is also a service bulletin on this.

My dilemma is there are several boards that are listed online as compatible for this fridge, all priced differently.
Visual appearance looks like some of the relays are beefed up on the various versions.
I don't want to swap in a board that is going to cause other issues that we haven' t had (like the sticky lights).

Anyone have a clue which is the latest and greatest for my unit?

Need the serial number to know the correct part number for you.  Or you can open up the panel cover and look for the original part on the control board.  It will start with 6871J.....  Once you get the original part number, you can get the upgraded version part number for this refrigerator.

Board is a 6871JB1375A

A is hand written in.

When I opened the cover I noticed that "hot semiconductor" kind of smell.

The "G" version board is NOT one that was showing up as a match on the online parts pages.
The "H" board is the most common.
The "G" version shows up as out of stock in a lot of places, so maybe it's in high demand.

Weird.
