Yeah, they are not bad once you know what to do. They can be a pain in narrow hallways, as they need double the floor footprint.
I had one that was clicking last year. Turned out it was the lint screen holder popping in and out, as the drum turned around. That was a fun one to figure out.
The drum moves both ways, so be careful you don't get it going in the wrong direction with the drum opened up. It will tear that little sliding stainless piece right off, bend it, and break all the plastic connectors.
