Fisher & Paykel Dryer Making Noise

Model # DEGX1, the dryer was operating fine, but would make a squealing noise during operation that was more noticeable with heavier loads. The source of the noise was the drum bushing that is located on the right side of the unit. These bushing will dry out or fatigue and crack with age resulting in an objectionable noise that increases with the size of the load. Replaced the bushing with a new kit (part # 479332 if you can find it) and it now sounds great.

I have a customer out of my area with this problem # DGGX1 and an LG Washer (door lock) and dish washer (door lock again, he says) that both have problems.

The part 479332 isn't available through APP or RC, but Sears has it for $133.
