Got the info to run the self test.....Got an error E54....This is failed communication to the motor with the inverter or motor being the likely problem...Question is : Are either of these seviceable in any way?

i would check all connections first, i don't believe parts are serviceable.

Still struggling with this machine....Other than error 54 on power up I can get no error codes...In tracing stuff nout I have come to the motor sensor that should measure at 118 ohms per the service manual....I gat the thing showing open...Would you think that would cause all the motor tests to give only a beep and then nothing....Also from the main board i do not get the 120 volts to the inverter. It is like something is causing the board to not deliver power to the inverter....Any thoughts out there?

Disconnect the wires from the inverter then check power at the wires to see if voltage is present.
