« on: March 02, 2012, 09:19:34 AM »
I HAVE A KENMORE 90 SERIES DRYER THAT WILL RUN FOR 3-5 MINS AND SHUT OFF AND WILL NOT START AGAIN FOR 2-3 MINS, AND IF YOU PRESS THE START BUTTON RIGHT AFTER IT SHUTS OFF YOU HEAR A CLICKING FROM THE TIMER. THE MOD# 110.60912990. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS.

Sounds like a bad motor to me.....there is a sensor in the motor which will stop motor from working until it cools down.  When the motor overheats this sensor comes into play and resets after 5-10 minutes allowing motor to run again.

yep, if cleaning does not work, will need  AP3094233  motor, cutting out on overload due to overheating!

The motor is pretty easy to replace. 2 screws removed on the base and the motor assembly slides out. The harness has a quick connect. I replaced a motor assembly on one a couple days ago.
