Sub Zero 532 freezer not working

the compressor for the freezer isn't working, fridge works fine. Could it be the thermostat? Any help would be appreciated.

I would ohm out thermostat to test if good or not.  To do this, you will have to take back. Cover off.

DISCONNECT power supply. Remove both electrical connections from the back of the thermostatic control. Temporarily connect both elect leads, power up unit. If it runs it a bad thermostat control.
