Kenmore Laundry Center 417.99395800

I have a Laundry Center (417.99395800) that has been in storage (no rust) and when I set it up again... I tried testing the Washing Motor, by setting it to Spin Only and I get a "LID Open indication" so I won't spin.....  is there anyway to test...  I tied with another lid switch and continues to indicated that the lid is open...   Is unit has NO Knobs..  It is digital,,,  Does anyone have the specific Service Manual for this Model...  any help would be appreciated Thanks
