Was out there Tue.  Customer just bought the house.  Ended up installing washer/dryer, fixing dishwasher, icemaker, and supposed to install microwave.
Microwave he got was off the shelf from Best Buy (nice Whirlpool) they gave it to him with no wall bracket  ::)  he ended up getting them to send him a new one and they were gonna install for free.
Hooked up the water line to fridge turned on water and had a nice water fountain from the fridge.  Asked the customer if he stored it in the garage (I'm in Michigan) he said yes.  I explained that a fridge need's to be winterized.  Pulled water valve out and sure enough cracked right down the middle.  Couldn't test icemaker but the main gear and post were snapped right off so no brainer, installed the new one from kit and kept the water valve and extra parts from the box.  Great Kit!  We ordered his water valve and I showed him how to install it.  I was already turning in a hefty bill so trying to save him from paying me more.
Great advice with the kit, Thanks O0
