Sure enough. Interesting though that the same motor with a shorter shaft is twice the price?

The dryer is called a dot dryer, not as many made as the regular back blower dryer.

Sorry, didn't mean to cause confusion in the thread.  On the bright side, I never thought about using a 279827 in place of a 279787.  I'll have to give it a try next time I run into one.  The 279827 costs me $41 less wholesale. I've bought 21 279827's since 2003.
