Joebeef is correct on the part number for your model.
I never looked up your model number before to see what motor it used.
I simply used the part number tgoods posted before me.
I don't believe tgoods looked it up either and he was just using a common part number for the whirlpool dryer motors in his post.
Anyway I can see where such a mix up could take place with that being the case. It's always best to use your model number to look up and order the correct part.
I see that, but the one I have in there now is basicly the same motor, same connector and is mounted and working so what's the downfall if any to sayin my bad but it's functional and safe?
I have no experience with installing the other motor in a different model dryer like you did, but I don't see why there would be any safety issues with it.
If another tech knows of any safety issues with him using this motor in that model dryer please let us know.
On the bright side it is the cheaper of the two motors.
