how can i access wires behind oven body on GE wall mount oven? HELP!

  I'm a DIY guy, and am running into a problem. i was changing the broiler ignitor, no problem. except one of the wires slipped back inside behind the oven body and i cannot retrieve it. i've tried  accessing through the light area, i've even tried to take the oven body out, i but cannot get burner orifice fitting out of the back of the body. my model # is JGRP17BEW1BB wall mounted oven. You'll probably need to pull the oven out of the wall and remove the rear panel.  Should be a lot easier than pulling the cavity.

so there is a rear panel? that was something i was not sure of. taking it out of the wall seems like sort of an ordeal. any tips?

They make stands but you can use a bunch of 5 gallon buckets put together to set it on when you pull it out.  I would suggest two people so it doesnt get away from you.

i already have the inside gutted.   is there a way to remove the burner orifice fitting out of the back of the body? right now, that's the only thing keeping it in. or should i just abandon this approach and take it all the way out? thanks for all the help!

It's hard to say without looking at it. If it looks like there's no easy was to remove it, it probably was assembled from the back.  Which means you still have to remove the oven from the wall.

well, the answer is, it is very easy to pull this unit out of the wall (just a few screws on the sides and bottom of the front), and i happened to have a table just the right height to catch it. i popped off the back panel (which covers the entire back btw for anyone looking for this answer), and pushed the wire back through. i don't know why i was so intimidated by taking out the whole unit. putting the insides back together is going to take me way longer  thanks for everyone's help! hope this helps someone else in the future.

Good training exercise. I've never had the pleasure of removing an oven cavity. I wonder if it's as miserable as a cavity search.
