----Youtube link at the end of the post----
I have a Roper Electric Dryer (Model
RED4440SQ0).
It's only a couple years old and for the last couple months has been making a squealing noise (see the youtube link below). Sometimes the noise quiets down a little, but not much/for long.
I was told to check the 'fast moving areas' first, but the dryer still makes the noise by opening the door and turning the drum with my hand.
The belt, drum rollers, idler pulley looked good when I took it apart.
Someone said it may be the drum bearing (rear I'm guessing?) or the drum glide (I didn't think this model had one).
I'm very low on funds, so I'm trying to do it myself rather than call someone...so any help is very much appreciated!
Thanks!
