Hi
My model no on the Frigidaire stove is
FEFL78CBC,
I think I found the problem, I opened up the back panel, and a component on the control panel was burnt.
I then check the power going into the control panel and it was 240 volts. Leading me to believe that the circuit board is defective.
My only question is there a component in the stove like a defective heating element that could have made the component short out? My wife was baking pizza at the time the oven quit, she said she heard a popping sound and then it just shut off. Before I order the control panel and install it I just want to make sure there is not another component that could cause it to short out the new circuit panel
Is there anything else I need to check before I replace the control panel?
Thanks for all your help
