Clean out Maytag Refrigerator water dispensing system

Does anyone have an idea on how to clean out the inside of the water dispensing system in a refrigerator?  I replaced the water filter and it seems like it kicked up some stuff, I am getting stringy floaties in the water now, even after a week.
I cut a piece of 1-1/2" PVC, put fittings on the end, filled it with white vinegar and ran that through the system, but I an still getting the floaties, although not as much.
I have a brand new Maytag filter on the system, previously it was a cheaper aftermarket filter.

Need the model number but you could change the whole water tank or tubing.

Thanks for the quick reply.  MSD2765GEQ.  I looked at the tank, it actually looks very good, as well as all of the tubing I can see.

Only other thing to do then, run about 2 to 3 gallons of water out of dispenser

Check the line going under the refrigerator from the tank to the door, warm air off condenser will sometimes cause the problem. I use a piece of washer fill hose and cover it,worked for me at least a dozen times for various manufacturers.

That is an interesting solution, what does sheathing the line with the filler hose do?  Keep it cooler so stuff does not grow?

The tube to cover with the hose is from the tank to the freezer door. The filter removes chlorine so the water has no bacteria fighting agent in it. Fought with Whirlpool over a machine. They changed out the unit, new one did it too. Solved by covering the line. Of course the old would not produce the problem at the shop where it was taken as it was in another city, different water.
