Sometimes my Ultimate Care II will spin and sometimes it won't. If it doesn't my wife will remove all clothing, spin the agitator and replace clothes and reset to rinse/spin. This usually does the trick.
I've replaced the switch because when I removed the original it busted. I've check the coupler and it looks good. I've pulled off the motor and pulled the transmission and clutch out. The brake is in one piece and the clutch looks fine, but I don't really know what to look for other than a broken brake release.
The washer isn't making any funny noises, and the motor runs when it's suppose to be spinning.
I don't think it's the timer. It seems to go through all cycles and does the delay with a clunk between rinse and spin allowing the clutch to engage.
How do I know if the transmission is bad? I can turn the where the coupler attaches in both direction and the transmission rod spins correctly.
I'm at a lose as to what is wrong!
