Panel removal?

I can't figure out removing the panel from the inside top to replace the temp control?

The temp control is behind a separate little cover behind the main control panel. It has a couple of mounting screws that should be visible if you bend in there and look upside down. The front panel also has a couple of mounting screws under the front escutcheon at both ends of the panel. Take your model number and go to the parts lookup to see the exploded view of this unit.

I already have the thermostat mounted but i need to get to the metal rod under the panel in the top of the unit?
Someone else took it apart and broke the plastic wheel of of the rod so i need to get it out ? I have looked high and low for directions on it or diagram and can't find it.

The front of the panel (with the settings) will pop off, revealing 2 screws holding the assembly on. Look for tiny slots that a screwdriver will fit in to remove the facade.

That is already removed and temp control installed but i need the (panel off) where the metal rod goes thru to the back of the fridge?

How about providing the real and complete model number instead of a partial one! Maybe we can find some literature for you.

Actually, here is the top-mount service manual which covers most of these units. I expect you will have to remove the hinges in the center and pull the mullion.
