Hello everyone,

I wonder if anyone is able to help me with a problem that I am having with the above-mentioned appliance?

I am not getting voltage to the condenser fan motor from the main board, however, the compressor runs.  I checked the 3 wires from the main board to the fan motor for continuity and they were all fine. Then I took out the main board and fitted it to a same model fridge and the condenser fan motor on that fridge ran - it seems that the board is fine.   It appears that something is holding out the main board from sending voltage to the condenser fan motor, but I do not know what it could be.

Any suggestions?

In fact I have two of these with the exact same problem!

Yes I checked the fan on a working model and it runs fine.  The problem is that I am not getting supply voltage from the main board to the condenser fan motor wiring harness.

I found more information about the c-fan for you.

C-Fan have the delay function, just to make sure you know about this.

Above 66℉  Condenser-Fan is ON as soon as the compressor is on.
61℉ ~ 65℉  Condenser-Fan is ON with 5 minutes delay from the compressor on.
Below 60℉  Condenser-Fan is OFF regardless of the compressor operation.


As I understand in the working condition, if you check the S/BLU  line with GRY line you should read 10Volts or 8.3Volts.

Hi Ting,

Thanks for the information.  I know for sure that the temperature in my workshop is below 60 (around 45 at this time of year).  That may be the problem.  The same model that I tested the main board on is in my house which is above 66.  It may be, my dear friend, that you have solved my problem!
