Control Panel Thermal Fuse

It seems well documented that Whirlpool ovens suffer systemically from failure of the control panel thermal fuse when the self-clean feature is used.  There is also a Whirlpool service bulletin out about proper routing of the thermal fuse to keep it away from the oven vents.  The control panel thermal fuse is not listed separately on any parts list I can find, though it is clearly shown on the wiring schematic, but does show up in the picture of the complete wiring harness.  Some posts here have talked about making up a new thermal fuse from piece parts, which I would prefer not to do.  Is the thermal fuse available as a replacement part rather than having to buy the complete wiring harness and throwing 99% of it away?  Btw, my oven model number is GBD307PDS6.

The part looks like a combination of both pictures posted here.  Looks like I just didn't find the right place to look for the part.  This should do it.  Thanks.

Now that I looked at this in more detail, my enthusiasm was premature.  The part you listed as AP3110028 is what my part looks like, but mine has 1/4 inch female spade terminals on both ends instead of 1/4 and 3/16.  I cannot locate any part on the site from the pictures that has the same size connectors.  Actually, I cannot locate any other part at all that looks like the picture of AP3110028.

You could crimp on a new spade, the big things is to make sure the temp rating is the same.
Can you read what it says on your old thermal fuse?

Go to Radio shack and look. They have a drawer full of these bullet fuses all rated with various temps. Take yours with you.
