Whpl fridge - Model# GC5SHAXVY00 - not running.

I am working on a Whpl fridge. model# GC5SHAXVY00 - it is a side by side unit.  It has power, all lights and front panel by the dispenser is working, but the compressor does not start.  It has a circuit board on the compressor - it is getting power, but nothing is happening.  Where to start?

If power to your inverter ,ohm your compressor. all windings should read the same. If that checks replace the inverter.

Ok - Once I replace the inverter - what are the steps to ensure the fridge starts up and runs.  Do I have to take it through diagnostics? or keep it unplugged for 7 minutes or ?

compressor should start within 5 minutes.

This fridge also has 2 control boards.  Can these be tested?

New Inverter and old inverter - no change in the fridge.  I tested the DC values from the control board and they appear to be good.  The fridge is only  2 years old per the home owner and they purchased from a local proprietor.  She is going to them to replace.
