Dryer Problem MDG5500AWQ

Greetings from Puerto Rico, I have a client with a Maytag Model MDG5500AWQ, the problem that she has is that the panel does not respond if I disconnect the end to him of the membrane and I connect it again works by awhile and soon he returns to the same is the membrane or the control board, Thank.

 Cannot decide if it is the membrane or the control board eh? That's a good question Amigo. I would go with the cheaper part first and hope that fixes it.

Sounds like a problem with the membrane to me.
Is it just a flat ribbon cable on the membrane that can be cleaned with a pencil eraser?
If so I would try cleaning the ribbon cable first.

To me it also sounds like a Membrane faliure.  Either a stuck or open key.  I have changed way more consoles on these machines compared to controls.  I am also intrested to know how you make out.
