My daughter was trying to dry her clothes. Got up this morning and still damp. So i noticed she had the dryer on "low heat" so I turned it to regular. Waited about 10 minutes and then checked and when I opened the door not heat came out like it normally would just cold air. I think it is the heating element, but before I shell out the cash for the part just wanted to make sure that may be the case.

I also cleaned the lint screen and also vacuumed out the lint door first, I know that can cause a loss of heat, but still no heat.

may be element or thermostats, you will have to use a muti-meter to find out what componet has failed.

I agree with bigbuck. It could be the thermal cut-off or the heating element.

If you don't have a multimeter you could remove the heating element and visually inspect the coils for a break.

I looked up your model number and in this case it looks like the only way to get the heating element is to order the assembly and it included the thermal cut-off as shown in the photo below.

If you do have a meter it would not hurt to check the voltage to the dryer too.
