That is the *original* servicer access site (password restricted).
It has been *shut-down*.
For current servicers---a new/different website has been created.
When the new Samsung CEO took control of the company (global) from his father (late 2010)---it was decided by someone within Samsung (obviously with the new boss' consent) that A&E would become the primary warranty service provider for Samsung.
Most independent servicers were quietly "deactivated" but not "terminated" as Authorized Samsung Servicers. I believe that this was done in the event that KMart/Sears "goes bankrupt".
Samsung does not yet want to "burn their bridges" until they can determine whether or not the proverbial ship (Sears) remains afloat or sinks.
Certain regions of the country lack coverage by A&E---in those areas---an independent servicer remains "active".
