Wolf oven burner was pretty badly corroded and the old ignitor had gone bad. Customer had a party and needed the oven asap. So I figured that I could install a replacement ignitor and she could use it till I got a replacement burner for her. NOT!!!!
On the 2nd day, she called and said that the oven stopped working so I rushed out there to see what happened. Found the new ignitor had been destroyed by the old burner. 2 days later, went back and installed a new burner and new ignitor.
Words of wisdom: Don't do a half a** job because it will bite the other half. OUCH!!!
